The Canon A2300' lens has a 35mm-equivalent focal range from a useful
28mm wide angle to a moderate 140mm telephoto. Maximum aperture falls
from f/2.8 at wide angle to a decidedly dim f/6.9 at telephoto, and that
will likely make the removal of stabilization a step too far for many
purposes. There is, of course, digital image stabilization, but there's
only so much to be saved by raising ISO sensitivity and noise levels in
an attempt to raise your shutter speed and freeze motion.

Samsung Series 7 Gamer

A big, beefy and shiny laptop ready for the latest titles with its blue backlit keyboard and i7 processor, Samsung's Series 7
Gamer laptop is a big shiny box of power. At 17 inches and 9 pounds,
it's more of a semi-portable desktop replacement than a truly portable
laptop. Still, this is a gaming computer, and with great power generally
comes some serious bulk and a hefty down payment.
The first thing
you'll notice about the Series 7 Gamer are all the blue lights, and a
silver dial on the right side, near the monitor. This lets you cycle the
computer into one of four modes: Gaming, Balanced, Library and Green
Mode.

The Samsung Series 7 Gamer also sports four USB ports (2x USB 3.0, 2x
USB 2.0), a Blu-Ray drive, four
stereo speakers, plus built-in webcam
and microphone. Our review unit had Windowas 7 Home Premium installed. The Series 7 is not customizable, this is the only configuration that Samsung currently offers.

Features :
At its 8.9-inch size, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 fits somewhere between
those 'too small for movies' 7-inch tabs and the larger 'too big for
everyday mobility' 10-inch models. That makes the 8.9-inch size about
right.
The Samsung Galaxy
Tab 8.9 is remarkably similar to Samsung's 10.1
version. Both run Android 3.2 Honeycomb - a modern operating system
designed specifically for tablets. A few 7-inch tablets use Android 2,
which is designed for smartphones. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 also uses
the same Nvidia Tegra 2 processor at 1GHz as the 10.1 model, has 1GB of
RAM and has 16GB of internal memory. There's a 2MP front camera
for low-res video chats and a 3MP rear camera for taking photos. There
are Bluetooth, HSPA internet and Wi-Fi connections on board. The Samsung
Galaxy Tab 8.9, at 447g, weighs over 100 grams less than
the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. You can feel the difference in weight right
away. Measuring 230.9 x 157.8 x 8.6mm, there's an extra degree of
portability, but you do sacrifice some screen size for movies and
games.Samsung uses a 6100mAh battery, which it claims lasts for about
10 hours. In our tests, the battery lasted about eight hours. The
battery is a hair smaller and not as long lasting as the bigger 7000mAh
battery found in the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1.
